Coz and Patrick discuss how to attract your dream job. We are in a new economy. Many Americans are trying to find jobs–any job–to help put food on the table. Is it possible to find your dream job? The key is to be proactive rather than reactive in attracting your dream job. You must reinvent yourself to remain relevant in a changing world. You must change your mindset not follow traditional job search processes.

In this episode, you will learn how to think differently and uniquely position yourself from every one else applying for a job. Everyone is in sales. When you are looking for a job you need to see yourself as a seller of the brand called you. You are selling you. Approach attracting your dream job as sales. Create a list of companies and leaders you want to connect with. Set appointments with them. Discover their business needs. Recommend solutions to solve their problems. In the end, the value your provide to an employer is your ability to solve a problem or reach a goal in the company. It is no longer about checking the box in the requirements of a job description.
